Materials for Teachers

Lo-cost, hi-speed photography system -- Convert a throw-away camera for use as a flash unit. Add a sound trigger and you have the world's cheapest high-speed imaging system.

Demonstrations -- a set of scripts  for demonstrations of high-speed phenomena. Informal science educators as well as teachers may be interested.

A Demonstration Measurement of the Speed of Sound -- a unique method--combining auditory and visual sensory input--that is suitable for students of all ages.

Speed of Sound Activities -- activities and exercises centered around the method above.  The materials are written for the middle-school level but could be modified for high school students.

Strobe Labs -- unique activities and labs that use high-speed images.  These are appropriate for high-school and introductory college physics courses.
