SK2. Sound trigger kit, unassembled

This kit includes all the components needed for building a sensitive sound trigger. The SK2 uses a piezoelectric element that is sensitive to sharp sounds like claps, snaps, and bursts. It can trigger on a finger snap from a distance of about 10 feet. A photo of the trigger assembled on a breadboard is shown to the right.
The kit includes three feet of 2-conductor cable for splicing the output to a PC cord or Flash-to-PC adapter. The latter two items are not provided with the kit but can be purchased separately. See the Product Guide for various connection options.
When purchasing the kit with a breadboard, there is a $1.00 savings over buying a kit and breadboard separately.
