Light Sensor Kit

discontinued...replaced with the Dual Light Sensor

The LT2 Light Sensor can be used to trigger a flash unit, camera, or wireless controller in response to a change in light intensity on the sensing element.

The output of the trigger is an optocoupler; hence, your camera can be connected directly to the output and maintain electrical isolation from the trigger circuit. Wireless transceivers and flash units may also be triggered. (Flash synch circuits must be low-voltage, less than 80 V.)

The kit includes all the parts for the trigger control box and the sensor cable. Soldering is required for assembly. The circuit is assembled on a PC board, which is connected to components on the lid of the box. The circuit is powered by a 9-V battery.

A cable is needed to connect the LT2 to your camera. The shutter cable is not included in the kit. You can select a shutter cable below
